Our Team


Prior to founding VCP in 2009, Son was Managing Director and Head of Vietnam Investment Banking for Citigroup. Son spent 14 years with Citigroup and Salomon Brothers as an Investment Banker - 5 years in New York, 8 years as Director and Managing Director in Hong Kong, and 1 year in Vietnam. His experience in investment banking includes: real estate investment; bank restructurings; industrial companies; technology, media and telecom companies; leveraged buyouts and corporate restructurings. Son was named Rainmaker of the Year in 2006 by Citigroup's Global Technology, Media and Telecom team.
He received his B.S. in Finance from the University Colorado in 1990 and his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 1995.

Tri directs our financial analysis and research team and is directly involved in deal execution. Tri has 10 years of experience in financial modeling, equity research and valuation. He was formerly with Salomon Brothers/Salomon Smith Barney and Merrill Lynch Asia Pacific. Tri received his B.A. in Economics from Northwestern University.

Phan has 5 years of experience at VCP and has been with the company since it was founded in 2009. He is responsible for sourcing, modeling and presentations. He has been the lead associate on deals in the healthcare, banks, clean energy, aquaculture and plastics sectors for VCP. Phan has a Bachelor of Commerce from RMIT University.

Ngoc received her Bachelor of Commerce from RMIT International University.

Duong has been with VCP since 2011. He is primarily focused on financial modeling and valuation, and has worked on deals in the plastics, banks, aquaculture, and real estate sectors. Previously, he worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers performing financial due diligence in Ho Chi Minh City. Duong received his Master of Finance and Bachelor of Commerce from RMIT International University.

Prior to joining VCP, Phuong worked as an Institutional Sales Associate for Saigon Securities Incorporation and also served the company as an Equity Analyst in F&B sector. She has established relationships with listed companies, securities houses and equity funds in Vietnam. Phuong obtained Bachelor and Master of Finance degrees at Macquarie University, Australia.

Bao is our newest analyst and joined VCP in early 2014. He was previously with Deloitte Financial Advisory Services performing due diligence and valuation advisory. Bao has a B.S. in Economics and Finance from RMIT University.

Our Partners

Mr. Goldberg is CEO of Gramercy Group, a real estate development company in New York. Prior to that he was an investment banker with Goldman Sachs.
Mr. Goldberg received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 1995.

Mr. Ho is the Deputy General Director at Son Kim Land Corporation, a real estate development and land management company in Vietnam. He is also the founder and Managing Partner of Integrity Escrow Company based in Southern California. With more than 10 years of experience in Vietnam, Mr. Ho has broad and extensive knowledge of the real estate market in Vietnam.
Mr. Ho received his B.S. in Engineering from UCLA.

Mr. Hori is the General Director of Dream Incubator Vietnam, a Japanese fund focused on investments in Vietnam. Dream Incubator in Japan is a listed company that invests in Japanese companies and provides consulting services. Mr. Hori was formerly a Project Manager at Dream Incubator Japan.
Mr. Hori received his Faculty of Policy Management Degree from Keio University in 2001.

Mr. Du is the Managing Partner with Altai Capital Management. Prior to that he was the Co-President at Fubon Financial Holding based in Taiwan. Mr. Du was also a trader with Goldman Sachs in New York and Hong Kong, and was the former Head of Equity Derivatives Asia at ING Bank.
Mr. Du received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and his M.B.A. from The Wharton School of Business in 1994.

Mr. Sidarto is currently the Managing Partner at PT Samuel Sekuritas Indonesia. Mr. Sidarto was an investment banker with Goldman Sachs, and was Head of Corporate Finance for Goldman Sachs Asia. Mr. Sidarto has spent close to 2 decades in investment banking in Asia and New York.
Mr. Sidarto received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 1995.

Mr. Le is currently the Managing Principal of Mozaik, a technology incubator based in California, with the objective of investing in and operating businesses that leverage technology. Mr. Le is a successful finance executive and entrepreneur, who has been actively involved in the real estate and financial services sector for nearly 2 decades in the US and South East Asia. Prior to Mozaik, Mr. Le founded and sold 2 financial technology companies over the past 10 years.
Mr. Le was formerly with ContiFinancial and Long Beach Financial (JP Morgan Chase) where he managed alternative assets and capital markets transactions for the specialty finance sector.
Mr. Le holds dual degrees from UCLA in Mathematics and Economics.
